Why do I live in places with long names? La Villa Real de la Santa Fé de San Francisco de Asis is the full name of Santa Fe. Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium is the original Roman name of Cologne.At least Boston is short.....

Art + Craft + ? I want to introduce another element besides Craft and Art. I feel that there should be a line I would call communication that is obscure on one end and popular on the other. Now we have a simple grid formed by the two lines that allows us to, if we have too much time on our hands, chart works within those four quadrants. Depending on which point on the communication line you choose you would need to adjust the point on your craft vs art line - although all craft is not necessarily more popular than all art, in fact it can be the opposite. And with the internet an obscure piece of art may become overnight incredibly popular......

Okay, imagine you've been spending some time in El Paso (which I have), and you venture across the border to Juarez where they retail every possible form of cactus brandy, you know, tequila, tequila reposado, sotol, agave, mescal with the drowned cactus worm in it, and you pick up a generous sampling strictly for anthropological purposes of course, and when you are five or six sheets to the wind under the paralyzing influence of these Aztec potions, you go websurfing and you discover THIS. Yes, this.
