Alfred will be missed
I know a lot of people will miss Alfred, especially the students who worked for him. He is very organized, very professional, charismatic and great with people. He knows helpdesk very well and has had a lot of outside experience. He is dedicated and just a great guy. I was reassigned to his job after his position was eliminated in a budget reduction. He trained me to do his job and left very big shoes to fill. The department I work in gave him a great send off, and yesterday the students and I went out with him to honor all he has done for us and the university.
I hope things work out so he can come back. He is a real asset to SJSU!
