Shadow is fighting for his life!
It started slow, almost sweetly. Shadow is normally a high energy kitten. He is light and able to jump and leap so well we nicknamed him "squirrel." (Pixel, his big brown brother, is heavier and is nicknamed "moose.") In the last week Shadow slowed down and seemed to want to spend more time in our laps. He slept more, he stopped jumping, then he stopped eating. On Saturday we realized something was wrong. First we just thought he was sick and would get over it. By late Saturday night it was obvious something very seriously was wrong and that he was very ill. We took him to the emergency vet clinic. Two days (and a months pay) later this little kitty is fighting for his life and we still do not know what is wrong. Today we move him to our regular vet. I hope we know soon why this precious kitty seems to be dying.
