Le Tour de Athens This morning's MSNBC Olympic telecast featured men's and women's cycling time trials at the Athens velodrome.  It's an event that's completed in under a minute, contrasting sharply with the grueling Tour de France. By shortening all events to this length, the International Olympic Committee could squeeze in more new sports.  At 30 to 60 seconds each, the events would be indistinguishable from the commercials.  They could call it the Attention-Deficit-Disorder Olympics.  10:39:22 AM
