Preface to Steve Martin's Autobiography Stumbled on this one, again. [posted by Troy] I read Steve Martin's "Preface to My Autobiography" (The New Yorker, November 15, 1999, p. 58-59) while I was in grad school and working part time at Northwestern's Schafner library.
