[posted by Kim] Troy's been bugging me about posting these photos, so here they are. A few Augie Alumni trying to avoid watching a painful Cubs game.

Ignore rights, but proclaim freedom. [posted by Troy] Luckily for the people of the Middle East, the U.S. is bringing democracy and freedom to them. And I quote: "Tens of thousands of political opponents and ordinary citizens have been subjected to arbitrary arrest and imprisonment, summary execution, and torture by beating and burning, electric shock, starvation, mutilation, and rape" (George Bush speaking to U.N. General Assembly, September 2002 about abuses by Iraqi government under Saddam Hussein). Apparently, the torture chambers are under new management? But the Bush Administration doesn't have a good track record for treating people as people, even if they are US citizens. Bill of rights? Come on, get real! Old news.
