I've had a nice leisurely weekend since getting back from Fargo, ND last Friday evening.
In fact, the leisurely pace continued today. My load assignment (per last Friday) was to pick up a container trailer in the Madison, WI area in late afternoon/evening and deliver it to a Chicago, IL rail yard.
This morning, my load assignment changed. I'll now be picking up a rail container in the Kohler, WI area later this evening and taking that to Chicago, IL. The trailer isn't due until tomorrow, so I'll sleep at home this evening, get up early tomorrow morning, make the delivery, and then pick up another rail container bound for the Menomonee Falls, WI area.
So, I'll be doing a split-shift logbook for today and tomorrow which means I won't be going out again until Wednesday. Looks like a low-mileage week.
