The Call that Hasn't Yet Arrived
Well, I'm still waiting to hear from dispatch. They were supposed to call me in the morning. Even if I'm not assigned to a load today, tomorrow, or even next week, it still proper to call when a call is expected.

Hmm...things are continuing to slow down. Another low mileage week. Not good.

PostScript: I ended up calling dispatch in early afternoon to see what was on tap for tomorrow. That's when they told me that I was still going to Minnesota after all (they forgot/neglected to call me this morning). So, I cancelled my evening plans and dashed off to the warehouse in order to start the trek to Minnesota so that I would make it there in time for my 5:00 AM appointment. I think from now on, sad to say, I will not be able to rely on dispatch for calling me back. That's disappointing. I guess in a perfect world, when people say they will call you, they actually call you. There's got to be at least one trucking company in America whose dispatch team actually calls you when they say they are going to call you--right?! Alright--enough ranting about this subject!
