The drive today (after sunrise) was beautiful. I had two stops in Rice Lake, WI and Ashland, WI. The drive to from Rice Lake to Ashland took me through a portion of Chaquamegon National Forest. There I encountered a healthy-sized doe prance in front of my truck (I missed her by around 20-yards) as well as a healthy-sized black bear doing a slow 45-degree gallop in front of my truck (I missed it by about 30-yards).
The scenic view of the bay from the street I delivered to in Ashland was spectacular. It felt like one of those vacation-like feelings when your life just slows down and you drink in the scenery around you.
The drive back was sunny and warm--one of those great summer driving days.
Hopefully I'll have a load tomorrow morning after I unload at the warehouse.
