Herons Fishing for Fish Today's journey was a great driving trip full of sunshine, warmth, and an absence of rain (hooray--the truck stays clean for at least one full day!).
I saw two herons in two different places hunting for fish. If only I was as patient fishing as they are! They stand still in the water and then pounce (my deduction since as I haven't actually seen a heron catch a fish) on the unsuspecting fish.
The morning's delivery went well and in no time I was turned around and headed for home.
Back at the warehouse, Mr. N asked me if I wanted to go to Fargo, ND for Tuesday and Wednesday. I said "sure!" (I had been dispatched to Chicago, IL) Along with the trip today, that will virtually guarantee me a good mileage week.
