Six Flags Great America is Still Great!
In lieu of taking Thursday and Friday off, today I delivered to Davenport, IA. It was a relatively short trip that started in the wee hours of the morning and ended shortly before noon.

Gorgeous weather weather on the way back--sunny and cool.

This past Thursday's excursion to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL was great. The new water park attraction seems like a good time--the guy down the street (whose family also went) and I snoozed the entire 3-hours we were in that area. Oh well. The kids had fun and that is what's important! We decided not to go back Friday since they no longer offered a significant discount for a return day pass within 7-14 days of your original day pass date (In fact, I think they used to have something called a twicket--go the next day for 1-dollar! They no longer offer it but it is still advertised on their web site). It was a good thing anyway (that we didn't decide to go back the next day) because we were tired from a full day down there. Instead we were going to attempt to go rock climbing at Devils Lake State Park in the Wisconsin Dells area. Nope--didn't do that either as you might suspect! It was pretty much a lazy Friday.

Monday I'll be delivering to one stop in the Chicago, IL area.
