I missed my 2nd delivery appointment by only 15 minutes and made my 3rd stop's appointment time--not too bad considering the events of yesterday.
This is the first lift-gate trailer of the fleet that I operated (I've used lift-gates in the past, but not with this company). I'm glad that the receiver at my 2nd stop knew how to run it properly. I would have figured it out eventually, but she sure helped speed the process up.
There was a number of accidents in Milwaukee, WI by the time I got back to the area. In one of them, a dump truck had crashed/smashed through a concrete bridge railing and ended up on the on-ramp below the freeway. There may have been another vehicle involved. Hopefully everyone's OK.
I haven't yet been assigned to anything tomorrow. I'll call in the morning and see what's up.
