Delphi XM Roady 2

One of the best things to read and help the time past while flying American Airlines, is the "Sky Mall" gadget catalog.  Reading (from cover to cover many times) and learning about all the news gadgets in it, reminded me of the cool unique gadget announcements I get everyday from Engadget and Gizmodo through my news readers.  Vacation life 2004 at 3500 feet imitates ground level blog reading daily life or maybe it's really visa versa.

The gadget that really caught my eye this year in Sky Mall (any ideas why??) was this minature pocket size XM Radio Receiver called the Delphi XM Roady 2.  It was cool to find the same device featured a couple of days later on Gizmodo.

Gizmodo: Delphi XM Roady 2 Reviewed "delphi_roady2.jpg imagePC Magazine gushes about the Delphi XM Roady 2, an iPod-sized XM satellite radio receiver that fits easily into your car but can be just as easily removed and used elsewhere. Although the sound quality will be better if you hook up a wire to your stereo, the Roady2 comes with a built-in FM transmitter to make the connection as simple as possible. Of course, it won't do you much good if there aren't any stations on XM you like, but if you're already paying the $10 a month for the service, a pocket-sized all-in-one device will make a great option."

We're back

After seven days of cruising on the open seas with family and friends, we're back home in New Jersey.

Highlight of vacation.

A 1/2 day spent on the

Dancing Dolphin, a 50 ft. Catamaran sailing to Turtle Cove, St. Thomas to snokel, swim and explore.

The sail to and back from Turtle Cove included good tunes, music, drinks, snacks and especially a great crew which included our friends!!

The memories of this excursion will be a hard act to match for any future vacation excursion.
