Scripting News -> Dave's note to aggregator developers: I'm doing a special aggregator for these feeds. But the list is open and will be maintained, so you can use it. It's a subtly different kind of subscription list, because it will change, you should subscribe to the OPML not to the feeds contained in the OPML. It's a chance to do a little upgrade among the aggregators for the DNC. I did it this way on purpose. It's the "neat net tricks" part of the barn-raising. There should always be a developer angle, imho.

Rio getting ready for the Karma 2 next month?.
Is Rio getting ready to do the electric boogaloo with the Karma 2? Nothing confirmed as of yet, but there’s a lot of buzz that they’ll introduce a bunch of new MP3 player early next month, including an updated version of their flagship Karma, as well the addition of wireless connectivity to a few other models.
[Pictured at right: definitely NOT the Rio Karma 2] [Engadget]

Jay Rosen shows he "can blog like a normal person." Lots good insight and good links. Jay's going to do audio blog posts. Good move. [Scripting News]
My First Ever Tech News... I have been cramming with tech people at NYU and if things work they way we've planned, if the WiFi is working, and if I don't screw it up with my own green hands, I will be audio-blogging from Boston, posting edited interviews (and maybe my own voice commentaries) on a University server and linking to them at PressThink. (MP3 format.) I have a nifty new SONY Digitial Hand Held ICD-BM1 audio recorder, which I have been fooling around with. Will try to post a test file in the next day or so.

Unstructured Musings -> Thursday Poetry Slam
(c) Andrew Lias
Aesir
I ran into the Aesir, Down at the grocery store.
They were in the liquor section Looking for a case of mead.
(They eventually settled on Some generic factory beer)
I asked them how they were.
Odin shrugged and said That he'd just sold his Ravens To a high bidder, online.
Thor said that he was Working in construction Where there's always a place For those who can handle A hammer.
Loki, as usual, was elusive But I got the feeling That he was looking for something Out in Hollywood.
It's a good place For tricksters and myths.
I told them that it had been too long, That they should call me, (They won't) That we should get together (We won't).
We all knew that we wouldn't.
I said my goodbyes As they wandered on over To the meat and dairy section Looking for some fresh goat flesh.
