Yahoo: Declining Levels of Service All Around
I don't mind saying that I still love Yahoo. I've used it since before they were Yahoo -- when it was still at Stanford and its always been really good (IMHO). It does seem though that they just keep blowing it all over the place. Take last night for example. I ran across the Yahoo Experts stuff and decided to sign up. After I started to sign up, I first I had to wait for the verification code to arrive since I wanted to change my email address. That alone took over an hour. Then when I entered that, I filled out another form that specified where I was an expert. I clicked submit and got this:
Nothing like error screens with spelling errors! Sigh.
