Successfully Expanding Your E-Business
I never fail to be amazed at the creativeness of small business people. Take Jodie Gastel for example. She runs www.scorebrowniepoints.com which is a gift delivery service basically for men who don't know what to buy their ladies. She hand picks gifts and sends them out monthly. Now she's taken that knowledge and tackled the, ahem, carnal aspects of a relationship. Go figure.
And lest I get slammed for bitching about strippers yesterday and posting a pointer to a book about "Take Me Now!", let me point out that its all about context. No I haven't read it yet and no I don't get an affiliate deal here. I honestly just find this fascinating.

Feedster: We're a Real Business Now -- We Have Revenue!!!
I'd like to say thank you to our first few Feedster customers. As of yesterday at roughly 2:00 pm (or thereabouts), Feedster became a real live business with revenues and paying customers (that weren't consulting clients). Oh and we (ok I) foolishly didn't highlight the Feedster statistics enough to show whether or not the ads are a good buy, what our traffic is, etc. Well that's pretty easy and the information has been on our Status page for a while:
Feedster Status
Now this page is generated in real time off the live Feedster data so even thought it might show only 1,237 searches RIGHT NOW TO DATE TODAY (when I blogged this), check back over the course of the day and you can see its progress. You should understand that we serve content out to two different types of clients: Web Browsers and RSS Aggregators. Ads are served only to web browsers.
