I'm back to Alaska, which still rules, tomorrow. But according to Phil, it's smokey. ugh. I was looking forward to actually being able to breathe again. I have to admit that I've been having fanatasies. Fantasies of Oxygen: O2. I can't wait to suuucccckkkk down actual air. Warm moist air that ecstatically courses through my esophagus and leaves me fullfilled and happy.

Wine of the evening: Richard (my boss) and I enjoyed an absolutely fabulous Grand Cru Margaux:
Chateau Cantenac Brown Grand Cru Classe Margaux 1996
Smooth and a nose that was absolutely beyond belief. A very special wine.

In consultation with a local Keystone bird expert, I think I saw one of these yesterday:
A Broad-Tailed Hummingbird. The way Hummingbirds dart and zip about remind me of the Snitch in Harry Potter.

Dad stopped by in Keystone today on his way from Denver back to Grand Junction.
Here's Dad leaning on his beloved Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
Here I am sitting on a dock in front of some purty flowers:

This is a test post. Radio and I are having communications issues. I guess it happens in every relationship. Radio won't upstream.

Another pretty day in Keystone - I finished up the CableLabs Summer Conference at 1:00 PM this afternoon and then hung out. I've been brought back to my summer kidhood several times on this trip. Something about the wind in the aspens and pines and the deep forest aroma.
