The Ski Boy returns home tomorrow! He and Seth (his scion) have had a great four days spectating at the PGA and the three game Red Sox- Twins series. Peter sounds beat - I think he needs to come home so he can recuperate. I personally am hoping that Peter's suitacase contains spiffy PGA and Twins goodies for the Slat Rat.

Not much to offer tonight. Still somewhat in the roadkill category, but doing a little better. I even mustered enough oomph to do a Coastal Trail bike outing with with my good buddy Chris Smith. However, I ache from stem to stern. So I think the Hot Tub and Grand Marnier are definitely in order.

Would it be awful if medical researchers discovered that the cause of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is Grand Marnier? Life might not be worth living if that were the case.

I beg to differ with Dave Winer's assesment of Lawrence Lessig.

Does Dr Lessig understand technology any better than Rep Coble?

Lessig's book - "The Future of Ideas: The Fate of the Commons in a Connected World" (admittedly, a long title), is the best book on the Internet I've read. And I've read most of the famous books and many not-so-well known ones. Lessig gets it - both the technology and the underlying philosophy of the Internet.

I would have thought that Dave and Lessig would be in-synch. I'm not quite sure what the problem is.
