Home at last! One very long day of flying - we got up at 4:00 AM EDT (Midnight ADT) to catch our 6:00 AM Sarasota to Cincinnati flight. From there on out it was a mad dash at each airport to catch our connecting flights. We got into Anchorage at 2:30 PM this afternoon. Life is good...
I do have to say that there is a noticeable temperature difference between Anchorage and Sarasota. Yesterday in Sarasota, it was 95 degrees. Today's Anchorage temperature was 45 degrees - that's a fifty degree difference. Rather a shock to the system.
Delta was not able to get me on a later flight out of Salt Lake, so I could not get in to see Dr. Bateman. A bit of bummer. Peter and I may be able to work something out with frequent flyer miles within the next few months. We'll see how I feel in the next couple of weeks. If I'm still punk around the edges, I'll see if I can wangle a Salt Lake visit.
