A double feature day! Tonight, Seth, Peter, Alix, and I saw Finding Nemo. What a film! The colors are so lush. The fish movements are so real. Plus it's funny! Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres are a dream pair. Pixar, again, comes through with a groundbreaking movie.
And it is the perfect Father's Day movie.

I took advantage of a rainy afternoon and saw the movie X2. What a totally cool movie! I even thought it was better than the first movie. As always, how can you not just love Ian McKellan?! Plus, what can I say? I've always had the hots for Patrick Stewart. Perfect way to spend a rainy summer afternoon.

Oooooh - Thunder and Lightning!!!! Very unusual for Anchorage. Clem thinks it's not unusual enough. She does not like it: She's making herself very small.
And of course, that thunder and lightning is accompanied by pouring rain. On a Saturday. Wah!!!!
Especially after yesterday - we set a record high: 76 degrees. The previous record was 75 degrees set in 1931. Yesterday was hot and sunny and would have been totally decadent except for that it was a work day. Bummer.
