Upon reflection, I've decided that there is a small possibility that the Nader campaign could actually benefit the Demos.
If Kerry (or Edwards) pays attention to, and then, incorporates the Nader positions that actually resonate with more than fringe voters (sorry Steve), Kerry could end up being a stronger candidate. That is essentially how Kerry and the other candidates leveraged the Dean candidacy.
Nader has certainly struck a bell with me regarding the obscene Patriot Act. Perhaps, Mr. Kerry will take a hint or two from Mr. Nader.
Steve had an interesting comment regarding yesterday's Nader post; he thought we should focus on Congressional elections. I think he's absolutely dead on - but not because of the Electoral College. Rather, it's all about congressional redistricting and gerrymandering of power.
