The co-winners of the 2004 Westchester Lagoon Ice Classic are Phil and Dr. L.!!!!!
I don't know the exact time - but between 1:00 PM this afternoon and 6:30 PM this evening, the ice almost completely disappeared out of the Lagoon. There are a few free floating berglets and a little schmutzy ice left in the southwest corner, but other than that, the Lagoon is Ice Free!
Nothing like a gorgeous day of 65 degree heat to obliterate the ice pack!
The Amazon gift certificates are winging their way as we speak to Phil and Dr. L.
A big thanks to all who participated this year!!! Mom, Gordon, and Brad - you guys were close. Just one day in either direction. But there's always next year!!!!!
 As you can see from this picture, the Lagoon is picture perfect!
