So, in the past six months, I've worked on the following:
- GCI's Cable Telephony Deployment
- Our preliminary analysis of a mobile wireless system build out.
- Our new AuWest undersea fiber which runs from Oregon to Seward. It was just completed earlier this month.
- Leading edge policy discussions and FCC filings regarding VoIP.
Do I have a great job or what?! Sometimes I feel like the telecommunications equivalent of Forrest Gump or Woody Allen's "Zelig". I don't really know a whole lot but I seem to be in the right place at the right time.

We're very excited!!! My Aunt Jane, Uncle Tom, cousin Julia and her husband Tom, are coming to town!
The last time Uncle Tom, Aunt Jane, and Julia came to visit was over 30 years ago!
This will be a whirlwind visit. They get in Friday afternoon and leave early Sunday morning to catch a cruise out of Seward down the Inside Passage. But we will do our best to show them the Anchorage sites within our allotted short period of time.
Of course, the highlight of their Anchorage visit will be meeting Clemmie! Clem even went to the groomer today so that she would look her glamorous best for our Outside visitors.
