 Our home is right off of Westchester Lagoon. Which is normally a good thing. However, last night at around 11:00 PM, the gulls just started squawking. And squawking. They squawked all night long. And we have at least a hundred nesting gulls. So that gives you some idea of just how loud it was.
They were definitely riffing on the MINE! Seagulls from Finding Nemo.

What just happened here? I take a five minute break as the Lakers-Piston game goes into overtime and the Lakers just run away with it.

I HATE THE LAKERS! Actually that's not quite right - it's Kobe I dislike so much. And I have for years - long before the rape accusation. Kobe colors an entire team. As Seth (son of Ski Boy) told me, in playground parlance, Kobe would be referred to as a "Punk Bitch". And isn't that the truth...
