My top five:
  1. Direct TV: Walk through time.
  2. Ameriquest: The guy, the cat, the spaghetti sauce, the girl.
  3. Ameriquest: You're Being Robbed.
  4. The Three Diet Pepsi ads.
  5. Toyota Prius.

So the Patriots win. But Philly just handed the victory to the Pats in the last three minutes. I've never seen such poor clock management at the pro level. Just amazingly bad. I actually think that it looked as if McNabb may have had some sort of head injury - he was so fuzzy and wobbly.

Peter is a happy guy!!

Tedy Bruschi's interception just iced the game for the Patriots.

The Patriots just surgically marched down the field and took a 21-14 lead.

This is a good game!

We thought the Toyota Prius ad was pretty cool.

Man - Philly just shreaded the Patriots defense to tie the game at 14-14.

Hmmm....At the start of second half, the Patriots are looking very good on both offense and defense. Their scoring drive was very smooth. And at this point, Branch has my MVP vote.

On the ad front, the Ameriquest commercial with the guy, the cat, the spaghetti sauce, and the girl was absolutely priceless!

The Patriots finally started clicking - their scoring drive looked good. And the Eagles sure blew the coverage on the touchdown.

Peter really liked the Diet Pepsi Stayin' Alive ad that featured a cameo with Carson from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

Peter and I both thought the Ameriquest, "You're being robbed" ad was pretty funny.

I am quite suprised at how well Philly is playing - I did not expect this. And the Patriots are making mistakes - very unlike them - especially the penalties.

Diet Pepsi is definitely leading the ad competition - their 3rd entry, iTunes in a bottle is original and funny. Their ad agency has definitely scored big time./P>

For the past two years, I've blogged the Super Bowl ads and other game items of interest. This year is a little trickier - since I am now "Laptopless", I'm taking notes and then at trotting upstairs at various opportune times for a quick blog.

Without further ado, here we go:

I LOVE the Direc TV ad. It's a walk through time combination of Forrest Gump and the Disneyland GE Experience.

TiVo so rules! I was able to just hit the little loop back button and re-view the Direc TV ad - the TiVo guys are just so good.

The Hells Angels-Ford Truck ad had potential - but it just petered out into your average stupid ad.

Wow - all the military hoopla. That being said, the Star Bangled Banner performance by the combined military academy choirs was absolutely fabulous. Were that the Star Bangled Banner would always be performed like that.

Hmmm...Bill Clinton is looking quite a bit thinner since his quintuple bypass.

The Ski Boy liked the Verizon-Chimpanzee ad.

Ooooh - #90 of the Eagles is somewhat big and tubby.

The Diet Pepsi Truck ad was kind of cute.

The punters have been performing quite well.

The Fed Ex ad is about as lame as they come.

I liked Cedric the Entertainer with the two women on the desert island.

o.k. - back downstairs for awhile.
