Random notes.

Still locked in mortal struggle with Neverwinter Nights: Chapter Two, searching for cultists. Caught Ganon, and currently searching for antidote to Forest Spirit’s poison.

Morning was pay-the-piper day for having done good work on the POC. Ah well. Robert Stanley finished the Garrett Files omnibus I lent him.

The lunch I planned for the performance group sort of fell apart. Susan had to cancel. Bill invited himself, and swerved the topics towards business, especially later, after all the movie and sports talk died off. Not my plan, but it was fun, and Bill picked up the tab.

Ah summertime in the city and too hot for women to wear business suits.

Since I have not seen QALoad for a long time, Ron tossed me a Dell laptop to carry home to re-acquaint myself with it.

Of course while on the train the lights go out, and so does the air conditioning. “You have two laptops?” “This (Dell) is for work. This (TiBook) is where I get the real work done.”

I will have to restart the TiBook sometime soon, as I have installed the AirPort update. Might as well get it over with. But I have downloaded some Windows update to this computer and I need to deliver them to the Dell. Ethernet? or burn a disk? Decisions, feh. I’ll do it later—famous last words.
