Did I mention that the Atlantic City place has no telephone? Nor a television. So I was completely undistracted by anything and yet got no extracurricular work done. Except for the weblog thing. And the magazine articles I wanted to read.

And when I arrived in Edison I overdosed on TiVo’ed television programs and world wide web blogs and Usenet. Oh, my.

What was I saying? Right, a better route to Atlantic City than the US1. Someone had mentioned Kelly Drive, formerly East River Drive, and another person had taken me down it on the way to lunch. These people obviously wanted me to kill myself. It goes past the park that follows the river. Very scenic, in the many-jogging-women-dressed-for-a-July-workout way. It then goes past those museum stairs that the Rocky franchise made famous, or so I am told.

Today, going back to Edison, I actually missed that route. And today I even got out of the office before six, when even more people are out and about than when I usually go. And what a glorious day for an accident-waiting-to-happen.
