Yitzi on Wednesday was admiring my PowerBook. He fully expects me to use my time on the train (if I choose the train) to write a book. What book? He doesn’t care. High expectations.
What book would I write?
- bishop on Aegea
- computational rhetoric
- the immanate
- um.

“The point was that any law that makes criminals out of fifteen million people is probably not a good idea.”—Dan Rydell (Josh Charles), “The Apology,” Sports Night.
He was talking about marijuana, but a law against fair use of video taping [link?] would probably encompass more people.

Apple retail store slated for Long Island [MacCentral] MacCentral quotes a Newsday article on it.
Apple is really expanding its presence heavily in the area: Three in lower New York, one in north Jersey, one in central Jersey, two in north New York. The most convenient may be the Manhattan one, which I won’t see for another two months or so. The client asked if next Monday was alright with me, but what could I say? Gee, I was hoping to go to Macworld Expo 2002 next week?
Speaking (tangentially) of Manhattan, Neil Gaiman was promoting his new book somewhere there today, but I didn’t bestir myself. Ah well. He posts a link to Morbid Tendencies, a gruesome site. But it did remind me to pick up one of those Monty Python bunnies which I have not done yet. Hostage to crap.
