BOSTON – Boston Globe reports the heirs of the late Red Sox legend Ted Williams are preparing for a legal fight over the final resting place of his body, the latest and most macabre chapter in a family feud.

UPDATE: Iverson Allegations

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Inquirer reports Allen Iverson's personal manager says there is no truth in allegations by two men that the 76er's star forced his way into a West Philadelphia apartment early Wednesday and threatened two men inside at gunpoint. No charges have been filed but police are investigating the allegations.

SHOTS FIRED UPDATE: Home of Tracy Hudson, Orlando Magic

MAITLAND, Fla. -- Orlando Sentinel reports Maitland police want to enlist the public to help find a second suspect in the slaying at Orlando Magic player Troy Hudson's home last weekend.

DRUG TESTING: Ephedrine

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore Sun reports the NFL set last Monday as the date when it would begin random drug testing for the use of ephedrine, a substance that has been called "legal speed." The NFL plans to suspend players who violate the policy.

SUPPORT: Jan Ullrich, German cyclist

LUXEMBOURG – Reuters reports Tour de France leader Lance Armstrong praised German rival Jan Ullrich for his honesty in confessing to taking amphetamine pills. Ullrich, the 1997 Tour winner and runner-up to Armstrong in 2000 and last year, is missing this year's event with a knee injury. The German, who tested positive on June 12, said he took the pills in a personal crisis and denied it was to boost his performance.
