NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Associated Press reports Arkansas running back Cedric Cobbs was found guilty Thursday of marijuana possession, driving while intoxicated and speeding.

ARRESTED: Brian Burgdorf, former Alabama QB
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Associated Press reports former Alabama quarterback Brian Burgdorf, the MVP of the 1993 Gator Bowl, was arrested Thursday on bad check charges. Burgdorf, 29, was arrested and jailed in Tuscaloosa on a misdemeanor check charge. The Birmingham resident is also wanted in Bessemer on a fugitive warrant for a felony check charge and in Birmingham on four misdemeanor bad check charges.
