The new HRSA Geospatial Data Warehouse lets you map a wide variety of human services related data.  It still needs some work in terms of the user interface.

Underground Storage Tanks: Building on the Past to Protect the Future is a new report from the EPA outlining the accomplishments of the UST program after 20 years in existence.  One of my first assignments at the State of Utah was to oversee the cleanup and upgrade of hundreds of state-owned USTs.  We ended up with over 200 leaking UST sites to cleanup and implemented the state fuel network as a way to more effectively manage over 18 million gallons of fuel used by state and local government.

HHS is putting more drug-related info online with the Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN)

The National Research Council recently published Biotechnology Research in an Age of Terrorism

HHS Secretary Tommy Thompson just announced the creation of the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity to coordinate life sciences research that could have dual-use.  The board's new website could use some help.

The department also just created a StopBullyingNow website.
