Yesterday I came across a woman in her mid 50s were a tshirt that said

It looks like I have to work until I die. How is your 401k doing?

A cynic might be tempted to say that the timing of all of the war talk is a bit suspicious. Perhaps Krugman is a cynic.

Of course all of the non-cynics are out their bargain hunting and looking forward to an early retirement.
