WallStreetJournal: "If it keeps going as it is, Israel is headed for the greatest military humiliation in its history.
Generally speaking, wars are lost either militarily or politically. Israel is losing both ways. Two weeks ago, Israeli officials boasted they had destroyed 50% of Hezbollah's military capabilities and needed just 10 to 14 days to finish the job. Two days ago, after a record 140 Katyushas landed on Israel, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told visiting Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice he needed another 10 to 14 days. When the war began, Israeli officials spoke of 'breaking' Hezbollah; next of evicting Hezbollah from the border area; then of 'degrading' Hezbollah's capabilities; now of establishing an effective multinational force that can police the border. Israel's goals are becoming less ambitious while the time it needs to accomplish them is growing longer."
TimesOnline: "Israel's Government has thrown its weight behind efforts by supporters to counter what it believes to be negative bias and a tide of pro-Arab propaganda. The Foreign Ministry has ordered trainee diplomats to track websites and chatrooms so that networks of US and European groups with hundreds of thousands of Jewish activists can place supportive messages.
In the past week nearly 5,000 members of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) have downloaded special 'megaphone' software that alerts them to anti-Israeli chatrooms or internet polls to enable them to post contrary viewpoints. A student team in Jerusalem combs the web in a host of different languages to flag the sites so that those who have signed up can influence an opinion survey or the course of a debate."
Israel is also massively losing support all over the world. Tracking and influencing websites can never hide the facts and these are clear enough. Israel is engaged in ethnic cleansing and is killing women and children. The war is creating more opposition and more Hezbollah supporters. The time that Israel could present itself as a victim has passed. Israel is losing and destroying its own reason of existence.

The Qana massacre again reveals the perfidy of our politicians. The Israeli propaganda is in Goebbels mode. Their statements that Hezbollah rockets were fired from Qana are not true.
Haaretz: "As the Israel Air Force continues to investigate the air strike, questions have been raised over military accounts of the incident.
It now appears that the military had no information on rockets launched from the site of the building, or the presence of Hezbollah men at the time.
The Israel Defense Forces had said after the deadly air-strike that many rockets had been launched from Qana. However, it changed its version on Monday."
NYDailyNews: "Hillary Clinton's primary opponent lashed out at the senator over Israel yesterday, blaming the deaths of 37 children in Qana on her refusal to push for a ceasefire.
'She, and a broad segment of our political leadership, bear responsibility for the deaths of these children,' Democrat Jonathan Tasini said in a statement. The youngsters were among about 60 civilians killed in Israel's weekend strike on the southern Lebanese town of Qana.
'Rather than call for restraint, Hillary Clinton stopped just short of declaring, 'Let the bombs fall'.'"
Guardian: "Britain has blocked moves by the European Union to call for an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon."
Scotsman: "US flights carrying weapons to Israel will continue to call at British airports, including Prestwick, a minister said yesterday.
David Cairns, a Scotland Office minister, is the first member of the government to confirm publicly the UK will authorise more military deliveries."

NYTimes: "So many superrich Americans evade taxes using offshore accounts that law enforcement cannot control the growing misconduct, according to a Senate report that provides the most detailed look ever at high-level tax schemes.

It is clear that this system can ship with live boot profiles in two locations, and switching back and forth could change literally everything regarding how the machine works and counts votes. This could be done before or after the so-called 'Logic And Accuracy Tests'."
