GlobeAndMail: "A federal judge has ordered Washington to halt the National Security Agency's program of domestic eavesdropping, saying it violated the U.S. Constitution."

WashingtonPost: "Washington lobbying firms, trade associations and corporate offices are moving to hire more well-connected Democrats in response to rising prospects that the opposition party will wrest control of at least one chamber of Congress from Republicans in the November elections."

The reign of Darth Cheney will soon be over. Episode 2.

Independent: "John Prescott was riding a wave of support from Labour MPs last night after privately attacking the Bush administration for being 'crap' on the Middle East peace process."

A picture named naked plane.jpg Telegraph: "John Prescott let slip yesterday that some of the 24 people arrested last week over the alleged transatlantic terror plot will not face serious charges."

TheAustralian: "An appeal court has quashed the terror-related convictions of Melbourne man Joseph Terrence 'Jihad Jack' Thomas."

BBC: "Tests on suspect liquids that led to the evacuation of an airport terminal in Huntington, West Virginia, have shown no explosives, officials say."

DailyKos: "The T&A Security screening process will insist that anyone planning on taking a flight, first remove all gel inserts from their padded underwear."

Oh, and yes, cakes and buns are dangerous too.

But Reid is already keeping a watchful eye on dangerous websites.

And your behaviour is being watched at airports too. The only place where you are not being watched is at home, that is, I hope so. Osama bin Laden couldn't do better.
