A picture named Water.jpg NationalUnion: "The United Church of Canada is urging its three million members across the country to avoid bottled water as a way of taking a personal stand against water privatization.
Delegates at the general church council in Thunder Bay passed a resolution declaring water 'a sacred gift that connects all life' and proclaiming that its 'value to the common good must take priority over commercial interests'.
The church put the issue on its agenda after congregations in London, Hamilton and Montreal expressed concern over a growing trend toward private water ownership and the potential for environmental harm. Interest in the issue was also expressed by churches in Asia, Latin America and Africa."

The increase in money (paid by the taxpayer) spent for security classification activities is growing. The taxpayer is paying the government to keep important information secret from you.
Isn't it time to start thinking about war tax resistance?

Bush is rapping for us Sunday, Bloody Sunday.

Yahoo: "Two missiles fired by Israeli aircraft early Sunday morning hit an armored car belonging to the Reuters news agency, moderately wounding two television cameramen and three bystanders, Palestinian witnesses and hospital officials said."

Maps of the assault on Lebanon. With so many more victims and damage on the Lebanese side, Israel still lost the war. Isn't that proof that brutal force is not a solution?
