War pimp alert - Reuters: "A Hizbollah fighter captured by Israel has told interrogators he received training in Iran and arrived there on a flight from Syria, a tape of the interrogation released by the Israeli army showed on Monday."
The chances of this being a deliberate spoof are great. To justify a war with Syria and Iran, the Israeli government simply had to 'find' this. This war has been planned more than a year ago.
Does it really matter where the Hezbollah weapons come from? The Israeli weapons are supplied by the US. It is a false reason to justify an attack on Syria and Iran. Every country has the right to self-defence and to have an army and weapons. And many countries sell weapons, including the Netherlands. The US/Israeli propaganda wants us to believe the Arab countries have no right to possess weapons, especially if they are supplied by the competition.
The point is that Israel wants us to see Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorists, even if these are democratically elected representatives of the people. The state of Israel itself was created by terrorism. The Palestinian people is still being terrorised by Israel. So who are the real terrorists?
Several days ago there was also a botched attempt (by MI6?) to frame Iran in the smuggling of a 'dirty bomb'.
This is a repeat of the war preparations against Iraq. The plans to attack Iraq were made before 9/11, which provided the excuse to start the war. It was the decoy to convince the American people that a war was necessary.

CNN transcript: "And joining us now here Washington Anne Compton who covers the White House for ABC News, and Thomas Ricks, Pentagon reporter for 'The Washington Post' and author of the new book 'Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq'.
Tom Ricks, you've covered a number of military conflicts, including Iraq, as I just mentioned. Is civilian casualties increasingly going to be a major media issue? In conflicts where you don't have two standing armies shooting at each other?
THOMAS RICKS: I think it will be. But I think civilian casualties are also part of the battlefield play for both sides here. One of the things that is going on, according to some U.S. military analysts, is that Israel purposely has left pockets of Hezbollah rockets in Lebanon, because as long as they're being rocketed, they can continue to have a sort of moral equivalency in their operations in Lebanon.
KURTZ: Hold on, you're suggesting that Israel has deliberately allowed Hezbollah to retain some of its fire power, essentially for PR purposes, because having Israeli civilians killed helps them in the public relations war here?
RICKS: Yes, that's what military analysts have told me."

Scoop: "Sweden's nuclear regulator SKI will meet in emergency session tomorrow (3 August) to decide on a possible immediate shut-down of all but one of the country's nuclear power stations supplying up to 50% of Sweden's electricity. Greenpeace has called for the reactors to be shut down following a serious incident last week at Sweden's Forsmark nuclear power station, in which 'it was pure luck there wasn't a meltdown' according to a former director of the plant.
In a report published last year, Greenpeace highlighted the widespread and frequent problems of failing power backup systems of nuclear reactors, which have also been reported in the US and Germany.
It has proved that a simple power blackout - something which has been happening regularly during the recent heatwaves - can very easily lead to a catastrophic reactor meltdown."
