What About Spam?
All the excitement about the national do-not-call list has got me a little frustrated. I, for one, do not get all that many telemarketing calls. It is really a non-issue with me. But I do get dozens of spam email a day. Where's the do-not-offer-to-mess-with-Mr. Happy list? Where's the stop-sending-me-the-same-ad-six-times-a-day list? That's what I'm interested in. I couldn't care much less about telemarketers. I just dont' answer the phone if it says "Private" or "Unavailable."
Oh, and who is surprised that the exemptions to the do-not-call registry include politicians. They made sure that they can still harass you during dinner time and ask for donations to their campaign as often as they like. Typical.
