I-I-I-I-I-I-I
Exploring I-cord: In this edition of Nake-id Knits we will explore the I-cord bind-off. (Yawn.) The applied I-cord edging didn't work for the Must Have--not enough neck coverage--so I stopped fighting the pattern, knit a 2x2 ribbed edge, and will finish with an I-cord bind-off. For God's sake, man, I want to frame that zipper with something.
If you have already cracked the code, go read another blog. (I just added Creazitivity to the blog roll, visit her, she seems nice.)
Three st I-cord bind off: Cast on 3 stitches to end of left-hand needle. *Next row: k2, k2tog, return 3 sts from right-hand needle to left-hand needle. Rep from * until all the sts are bound off. Cut yarn and thread on tapestry needle, pull end of yarn through remaining 3 sts and fasten off.
Oh, and then there's this I-cord application. I have just one word for it: Why?
