I Am a Gun Owner and I Live a Gun Owner Life Style
You have shown progressive thinking and tolerance for that which the majority condemns. So I was thinking of coming up to San Francisco and exercising my right to keep and bear arms, maybe showing up at City Hall with a state-banned AR-15 and a couple 30-round magazines, and also carrying several pistols concealed without a permit.
Yes, I know, it will be a violation of California laws, but you've shown that you're willing to disregard those when it serves your goals. And because I am a peaceable citizen, I should easily meet Judge Warren's criterion that no immediate damage would be done by allowing this. [American RealPolitik]

The Chief is back
I am proud that we have a president who had the fortitude and courage to act upon what he believed to be right; that regardless of the consequences he stuck to his plan and followed through in Operation Iraqi Freedom, giving millions of people the opportunity to live as free citizens in their own country.
I am proud that I had the opportunity to serve my country by going to Iraq and being part of that great historical event, the toppling of Saddam Hussein. Also, being free to not only perform my mission but to do my part in winning the minds and hearts of the Iraqi people.
I am glad that my family understands and appreciates my desire to serve and my willingness to do my part in bringing about a successful conclusion to this mission.

Let's just be blunt: The North Koreans would love to see John Kerry win the election. The mullahs of Iran would love it. The Syrian Ba'athists would sigh with relief. Every enemy of America would take great satisfaction if the electorate rejects the Bush doctrine and scuttles back to hide under the U.N. Security Council's table. It's a hard question, but the right one: Which candidate does our enemy want to lose? George W. Bush.
And some conservatives will be happy to help, it seems.

The "Whites only" scholarship that has liberals in an uproar Oh, boy, this issue is driving leftists nuts!
They cannot openly attack the concept of a restrictive race-based scholarship without proving the point of those who oppose quota-based affirmative action programs, so they call the person running the scholarship a "hypocrite" for accpeting a Hispanic scholarship.
No, dear liberals, he would be a hypocrite if he accepted a restricitve race-based scholarship and then claimed that the fact that there weren't any such scholarships for whites was just, legal or in keeping with "equal protection". Hey...isn't that the liberal position on affirmative action?!
Either we treat everyone equally or we don't!
