-------------------- Touchy-feely doesn't get the job done A reader here named yeeehaaw! commented to a post on this site titled "The Real John Kerry". Since we all know that very few of you post or read comments, I thought I'd share his thoughts with you here. Spoketh... [democrats give conservatives indigestion] I keep telling conservatives that you cannot have an intelligent conversation with a touchy-feely liberal type person.  Any time I have tried to communicate with one of them has been a total waste of time.  If you refute anything they say with factual information you get the same reaction you get from a dog.  Ever looked a dog straight in the eyes and just start talking about anything?  Every time you make another sound the dogs head will cock one way or the other.  Watch closely the next time you try to have an intelligent conversation with one of these people.  You will see the expressionless head cocking back and forth just as you would with a dog waiting to hear a key word they understand.  When you are done stating your case there will be a long pause as if the moonbat is digesting the information you just presented, at which time they launch back into the same memorized trite statements about how Bush is Hitler or we're killing the earth with SUV's.  It's as if they never heard a word you said.  It's so funny to watch.  Try it sometime.  CP 10:40:21 AM    comment []

--------------------- Grow up people! I've had 1 1/2 beers tonight folks so look out! What the hell is going on with so many big time bloggers lately?  Hardly a day goes by that I don't see one of them lay out the "Everyone is picking on me so I'm taking my blog and going home" routine on us.  Of course they never do.  In some case's the blogging actually increases after the lengthy tear jerking departure post.  Is it some kind of ploy to see who really cares?  Everyone is not showing me enough appreciation so I will make them feel bad by rambling on about how my feelings are hurt and then they will fall all over themselves telling me how much they hate to see me leave in the comments.  After they do that I will feel better and condescend to continue blogging so they won't have to kill themselves. If you don't want anyone hurting your feelings then turn your damn comments off!  How hard is that? You leave them on because you love the abuse!  It also gives you an excuse to post about how horrible everyone is treating you. Christ Almighty people, your starting to sound like a bunch of politicians!  GROW UP!  The rest of us are tired of listening to you whine!!!!!!!!!!!!!(he whined).
