Close enough to sneeze on Britney [Posted by Kim] Although we're not as exciting to sit as close to as Britney Spears, who Lance recently saw in the QCA, we're hoping that we wowed him with our knowledge of the half-off martini night bars in the area. You can't beat a trio of martini's and a spontanious visit from a good friend. Lance, if you see this, come back again we love visitors

Big Wheel keep on Turnin' [Posted by Kim] Sunday officially kicked off this Cycling season for Troy and I. This year, we actually remembered to set our clocks ahead for the "SPRING FORWARD" bike ride out in Union, IL. It was chilly, but we were much more prepared this year than we were on that miserable day last year.

Purdy Pugsley has returned home [Posted by Kim] And my favorite little curly tailed Pug came out to visit us for a week. Click on her photo to see what she does through our condo, so funny. I was lucky to get her in this shot at all, she's quick.
My parents were in Mesa, AZ watching Cubs games and exploring the desert. Seeing their pictures and hearing their stories made me soo jealous.

Can't Hold Our Booze AND Now We Are Nice? [posted by ZelderLincoln] I guess that we'll have news days like this: - Quad Cities Ranks 6th in U.S. Metro-Areas for Binge Drinking: Is this the home sweet home I remember? Or was I too drunk to remember? What in the heck are all of you doing out in the QCA?
- Illinois
Says We're Sorry: I guess it only takes 150 years for Illinoisians to apologize for chasing people with a crazy mob, but we get around to it sometime. What's the big deal? I guess those Mormons get a little peeved when we chase them with pitchforks and torches. Sheesh!

The Music Industry: New Stuff All Over Again [posted by ZelderCritic] Another rock star entering rehab, but say it ain't so! It's Jeff Tweedy of Chicago's own Wilco. Sex, DRUGS, & Rock-n-Roll lives on( The Tribune Reports). But Wait! There's more! Wilco has been well-known for releasing albums for free on the Web, and fans have still purchased their albums (putting Wilco's last album up to #13 on Billboard). Well, Scott sent this diddy to me, and it appears that the goodwill police are on the loose on the Web. These great souls have decided to download Wilco's new album for free and take the money they would've spent and donate it to a good cause. Checkout Justafan.org to see how this works. Oh, yes, many people will still buy the album when it comes out but maybe we'll do something nice in the meantime.

Don't ya think that a Twinkie is just a yellow Submarine? [posted by ZelderBar] Two cool things for your enjoyment: - U-505: The Museum of Science and Industry is actually moving their German Submarine. This ain't like moving the family trailer out of the trailer park!
- Twinkies: Did you know that Twinkies are a Chicago invention? Well, they are. Check out this short history and fun links about our favoriet cream-filled snack.

Lance Did! [posted by ZelderBar] A little blond-haired bird told me that some friend of mine is going to Croatia. Very novel. Well chosen Edmund family. In honor of this trip, I wish to direct all of our readers to the CIA World Factbook on Croatia. The World Factbook is the one stop shopping point for quick and well-rounded information on each our the earth's countries. Hey, there are 4,422,248 people in croatia, and women out live men on an average of 8 years. Very cool.
