Easter in Ohio (and Indiana too) [Posted by Kim] Troy and I had a great time in Ohio this weekend exploring the Amish-rich Ohio/Indiana area and visiting with his parents, grandparents and Uncle Tim. The town his parents now live in is smaller than the distance I walk to most meals here in Chicago, which makes for a fresh change of pace for us. I got to enjoy some fried veggies (mmm..) in the infamous Chatt bar I've heard so much about. This is the only restaurant/bar in town and exactly the type of place Troy would take you to on one of his pub-crawls; I can see why he likes it. We rode our bikes (of course) into the nearest town, which was in Indiana, where we stopped to chat with some local librarians. They have the coolest children’s library I've ever seen! We did some shopping with Troy's Mom and Dad in that same cute little town and in a place called Amishville, where we ate lunch after Church on Sunday as well. Troy and I were privileged enough to hear Pastor Swanson’s sermon twice (with free home cooked country breakfast in between). Can Easter Sunday get much better than that!?
