2003 Denver Mayoral Transition City employee pay is the subject of this article from the Denver Post [July 14, 2003, "City's top salaries targeted"]. Since 70% of the city's expenditures go for salary and benefits it's hard to argue that the transition committees shouldn't look here. As a city employee this adds to the angst we've been feeling throughout the election. 5:50:23 AM
