2003 Denver Mayoral Transition
The Rocky Mountain News [July 17, 2003, "On Point, July 17"] chides John Hickenlooper for associating with the Colorado Environmental Coalition. From the opinion piece, "Its major public push in recent years has been for aggressive growth controls, and specifically the draconian Amendment 24 that voters soundly rejected in 2000.
