So how is it that Atta's passport -- after crashing into the World Trade Center and creating a fireball so huge as to melt the building's support structure and bring it crashing down... how is it that Atta's passport happens to be about the first thing recovered at the site?
Are we supposed to believe that?

As one would expect, Israelis invaded Nablus. Now it becomes interesting. Will Nablus refuse the curfew again?
The trick to non-violence with shooters on both sides is that a lot of the non-violent people are likely to get killed. Say 10,000 people take to the streets. How many can the Israelis kill? Are there 10,000 Palestinians who want peace badly enough to risk their lives? Aren't your lives already at risk?

Licentious Radio at the White House press briefing:
"Ari, Bush said this week that corporate criminals would do 'hard time'. His brother, Neil, once criminally manipulated the Silverado Savings & Loan, costing the American citizens a billion dollars when it failed. Under George W.'s new crackdown, exactly how much hard time would Neil have faced?"

Israelis are nothing like the Nazis, of course. Nazis would arrest and then murder relatives of suspected terrorists. Israelis only exile relatives of suspected terrorists and blow up their houses.

Saw Pride & Passion last night. Maybe it's a grand movie, I don't know. I thought the titles by Saul Bass were better than the movie.
The other film was "Kiss them for me". I thought it was supposed to be funny. I guess there are laughs, but they're laughs of desperation. The music plays light-heartedly while the lyrics sing of comforting men who go through hell fightin World War II.

Yesterday's political cartoon of the day: "This is your nest egg. This is your nest egg on Bush." A frying pan smashes the nest egg.
It's much worse than that, of course. The nest egg isn't really gone; it was just transferred to the off-shore accounts of the insiders who sold short.

Ha, ha, ha. The San Francisco Chronicle had the required photo of Sullivan in handcuffs. But they also printed the photo of Sullivan walking out with no cuffs, after arranging bail. That's getting tough, boy.
You can't look at the handcuff picture without knowing that it's all PR. The Bush mafia are scared shitless, because Cheney and Little George are two orders of magnitude more crooked than Sullivan, and all the evidence is publicly available.
Meanwhile in Germany, there's a political scandal about personal use of frequent flier miles from government-related travel. Pump-and-Dump Bushlet wouldn't have a problem with that -- he was always flying in the Enron jet. So there's no scandal here.
