licentious radio

[10:25:47 PM]

I still call Radio a Content Disposal System, because there's essentially no way to navigate to old content -- unless you happen to remember the date it was published.
But Google has improved their indexing of my website. This is a step ahead. Now they seem to point at the day page, when the day is no longer on the main page. Before, people would click on the link at Google and arrive at the main page -- but the item they wanted to read was no longer there. Now Google seems to be pretty good about sending people to the actual content.
Thanks, Google. Keep up the good work!

Does anybody remember "exit strategy"? You're supposed to know how you can *possibly* get out before you go into a war. We don't like Saddam, but there's no way to hold Iraq together without brutal force. So we let Iraq fall to pieces and become an Afghan-like den of terrorists? Or *we* become the repressive force?
And then there's Iran.... U.S. invades Iraq, sets up Iran hardliners for as long as U.S. soldiers are next door. Iraq hardliners support anti-American elements in Iraq. Now we're going to invade Iran? Gong!
Let's be clear: attacking Iraq is *only* about domestic politics. If the Bush junta doesn't get the war on soon, they lose the House in November, and Bush and Cheney go down for crimes ranging from theft to treason.
Let's face it, Cheney's one of the arch-corporate criminal mastermind. The media hasn't even gotten to government fraud yet. When we get around to investigating corruption of government purchasing programs, Halliburton is at the top of the list -- and Cheney led the way. And treason is simple -- either Bush/Cheney protected Bin Laden, or not. Protect Bin Laden == treason.

Oops! Number two on google for "palestine humor" -- and I got no palestine humor. Sorry, gang.
Why did the Palestinian cross the road? To blow up the Israeli. Why did the Israeli cross the road? To assassinate the Palestinian, and destroy his relative's houses.
I'm sorry, I'm too hung up on dead bodies to think of anything funny. Very sorry.

Happy Birthday, to me. The weather is lovely, the internet connection is fast, and the living is easy in lovely little Menlo Park.
