"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

Why would *anybody* vote for a Democrat who's proud claim is that she voted with Bush 85% of the time? Why would the Democratic party help with her campaign? If you want a Senator who gives Bush everything he wants, why not get an actual Republican? If you're a Democrat, do you want a Democrat to win who will consistently vote against your interests? Maybe it's time for the appeasors to be flushed down the drain.

"We're for war and corporate corruption, too, honest!" Not much of a campaign slogan.
