News - Online K-12 curriculum now available for home schoolers:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?B51C23EB1
Comment - This article says this is the first home-school curriculum that
covers K all the way through 12. FYI for my home schooling friends!
News - WWII Online is a cool-looking online game:

Comment: Thanks to Tim for passing this along. It has a PC version as well.
I'm interested in the fact that the game focuses on the 1939-1940 time
frame, with the equipment used then. Nice change from the Tigers and
Shermans that most WWII games use.
I'm also keeping an eye out this fall for the online version of CivIII. With
broadband connections spreading rapidly, online games will become the norm.
No more beating up on the stupid computer. Soon, I'll beat up on stupid
human opponents (more likely, get beaten upon.)
