Comment - The Viennese Vegetable Orchestra! If your connection is fast
enough, click on one of the audio files and listen to a sample of their
work. Pretty odd, at least to my ears.
Us old folks may remember the goofy Beach Boys single "Vegetables" from the
Smiley Smile album.
News - I watched a terrific DVD movie this weekend: "Conspiracy", a
recreation of the top-secret 1942 Nazi meeting in which the Third Reich's
plans to exterminate millions of European Jews were finalized:

A horror movie that has no blood or gore, only guys sitting around a table
for two hours planning how to murder 6 million Jews (they hoped to kill 25
million, but the war ended before they could.) Kenneth Branagh won a 2001
Emmy for portraying SS General Reinhard Heydrich, who masterminded how to
organize the Holocaust. Branagh show Heydrich as a smooth, charming monster.
An extremely well written, well acted movie that is totally riveting.
