News -- Two new movie complexes to open:

Comment: Madstone is at the Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor. It will show
independent and foreign films, competing with the Michigan Theater downtown.
Emagine Novi is across the road from Twelve Oaks mall. The big deal with
this theater is increased space between rows, high-backed rocking chair
seats, DTS sound and a large auditorium with a digital projection system.
And, Emagine has a Shooter's Club. Members (costs $200!) get to sit in
special stuffed recliners in luxury rows, and have free valet parking,
express concession line (or order from a waiter before the movie starts) and
get first preference to order early tickets for blockbusters like Harry
Potter II.
Both are about an hour away from Holt, so they might make a nice evening
trip for a special movie experience.
